Bound By Distance: Rethinking Nationalism Through The Italian Diaspora

This book proposes a rereading of Italian emigration as the result of the major sociopolitical trends in Italy that came to be known as the Risorgimento. It also takes into consideration some contemporary alternative cultural movements in southern Italy today that could be said to fall into the category of "postcolonial culture."
