After years of war against terrorism, led by the United States and his allies, mainly against Al Qaeda and its international network, today the West is in war with an enemy of a very different caliber and capabilities: the ISIS. About the author:
Stefano De Angelis (Chieti, 1986) graduated with magna cum laude in Sociology at the University G. D’Annunzio of Chieti-Pescara, with a thesis on the terrorist phenomena, the result of a long research conducted between Italy and United States. Author of the survey book, Terrorism in the postmodern era (Tabula Fati, Chieti 2014), of sociological pocket Pillole Liquide (Tabula Fati, Chieti 2015), and articles in the field of defense and foreign policy for some of the top industry blogs. His latest book Isis Vs Occidente (Solfanelli, Chieti 2015) is considered best seller of category in Europe. He currently works at the chair of Sociology in the Department of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences of Universiy G. D’Annunzio, and is professor of Terrorism and International Security, Techniques of Prevention and Contrast in the police headquarters of Chieti.
