This visually stunning picture book is by the winner of the International Award for Illustration awarded at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Satoe Tone. Her artwork has been praised worldwide, and her picture books are available in not only Japanese, but have been translated into French, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian.

Satoe Tone was born in Fukui Prefecture, Japan and now lives in Italy. After studying Design at Kyoto Seika University, she became a published children’s picture book author in 2011 while residing in Milan. In 2013, she was awarded the International Award for Illustration at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2013.
